In previous post we have completed Weblogic setup now we will install Primavera application.

Click Next.
Specify installation directory. Click Next.
Select the product that you want to install. Here I am selecting P6, P6 Team Member and P6 Webservices. Click Next.
Browse to location where you have installed JDK version 8 update 60. Click Next.
Specify WSDL4j jar file location. You can download it from here
Review the summary and click on Install.
Once installation is completed you will get configuration wizard. Click Next.
Select appropriate option, as in my case I don’t have Primavera database, so I am selecting first option. Make sure to run pre-installation scripts before choosing this step. Pre-installation script is mentioned in Part 1 of this blog series.
Provide database details.
Provide schema username and password. You can change username as per your requirement e.g. ADMUSER can be ADMUSERDEV or ADMUSERQA. Also provide application admin user id and password.
Provide configuration name. If you are connecting to an existing Primavera database you will see existing configuration name. Click Next.
Select Configure weblogic. As we already installed weblogic in Part 2 we will choose second option of connecting with existing domain. Click Next.
Provide details of weblogic. Click Next.
Leave settings like content repository, BI Publisher blank. You can always update these once application is installed.
Validate everything at Configuration Review step. Click Next.
Click OK and then Yes.
Installation process will start. Click Next when everything is completed.
At Configuration Complete step you will get URL for all three Primavera application installed.
Now to review that application is properly deployed in weblogic open weblogic console and navigate to Environment > Servers. All managed server should be up and running.
Click on Deployment, these should be in Active state with health ok.
This completes our Primavera installation. You can access application from their respective URLs. If you face any issue while following above steps, mention that in comment or drop me an email. You can get contact details at About
Thank you for your great posts. I was wondering whether I could connect Primavera P6 mobile app , which I downloaded from Google Play, with Primavera Professional Oracle database 10g ( or SQL database 2012) which I download it on a server PC. If connection is possible, could you send the exact steps to do so. Thanks in advance

Hello, sorry for being late I just noticed your comment.
You can connect P6 Android app with your P6 web application not the Professional one. So first you have to install P6 web and then you need to provide URL of same in your android app.
